Camping San Nicolò is a camping near Venice and Marco Polo airport. The property is located in the island of Lido and is easily accessible by plane, car, bicycle and train.

How to reach us

From Santa Lucia Station – Venice

At the exit of the station you will find the Vaporetti stop. Take the first for the Lido. (LINE 1 -5.1 or 5.2) Arrived at the Lido – CAPOLINEA – Take a bus towards San Nicolò LINE A. Ask the Driver anyway, as the lines A are two and have opposite routes.

From Marco Polo Airport

ALILAGUNA – The Alilaguna navigation service directly connects Marco Polo airport to the Lido of Venice. Arrived at the Lido – CAPOLINEA – Take a bus towards San Nicolò LINE A. Ask the Driver anyway, as lines A are two and have opposite routes.

BUS FOR PIAZZALE VENICE ROME – The bus will take you to Piazzale Roma, here you will find the landings of all the lines of the ACTV navigation service. Take the first for the Lido. (LINE 1 -5.1 or 5.2) Arrived at the Lido – CAPOLINEA – Take a bus towards San Nicolò LINE A. Ask the Driver anyway, as the lines A are two and have opposite routes.

From Piazzale Roma:

LINE 1 – is the panoramic line via Canal Grande, you will reach the Lido di Venezia in about 1h.

LINES 5.1 – 5.2 – 6 – Fast lines, through the Giudecca canal or new Fondamenta – about 35/40 min Arrived at the Lido – CAPOLINEA – Take a bus towards San Nicolò LINE A. Anyway ask the Driver as the lines A are two and they have opposite paths.

By car

Leaving the A4 motorway, follow the signs for Venice. After crossing the “Ponte della Libertà” which connects the mainland to Venice, follow the signs for TRONCHETTO from where the ferry boats leave for the island of Lido di Venezia. The frequencies are every 50 minutes from 6.40 am to 0.25 am. There is the possibility to book the ride on the ACTV website. When you arrive at the Lido, as soon as you get off the Ferry Boat, turn immediately left and continue along the road that runs along the lagoon for 700m. The campsite will be on your right hand side.

Nicelli Airport

For those wishing to reach the island with their airplane, the Lido has a small tourist airport that is 500m from the campsite

From Punta Sabbioni – Jesolo – Cavallino Teporti

Reach Punta sabbioni and take the Linea 14 waterbus for the beach. In this section, you can take your bicycle with you.

From Chioggia and Pellestrina – it is not possible to drive the car from Chioggia.

Take the vaporetto per PELLESTRINA from Chioggia – you can bring your bicycle. Once in Pellestrina take line 11 in front of the vaporetto stop. If you are cycling, take the main road on the island. At the end of the road there is the Ferry Boat boarding on which you will climb to reach the Lido. If you are on a bus you do not need to go down, the vehicle goes up on board the Ferry and goes on to the Lido center;
